The Joy of Wine Cellars

In a recent email I shared I've been helping people with their wine cellars, collections, and other wine storage needs. I also offered a free session and advice to any questions they had on the topic.

Many people replied back with comments and questions that sparked further conversations. Starting this week I will be helping a few collectors re-organize their cellars and uploading their 200+ bottles into a wine app for tracking and management.

The questions you asked were genuine and I know will be helpful to a larger audience of readers. In a world of AI and GPT created responses, sometimes the human interpretation is just as, if not more, important.

I will begin answering those questions in a regular email letter called Cellar Stories. This short daily* email is meant to inspire wine enjoyment starting with bottles patiently waiting in your collections at home.

Tonight I leave you with a bottle I'm excited to open. We've been talking about Spain a lot at home (World Cup, friends returning from living abroad, future travel) and there's a bottle I've been holding for 17 years. Tonight it's unapologetically getting paired with homemade tacos. You can learn more about it by clicking the link.

Now, is there a bottle you've been holding for a while and just need a overcast Monday as an excuse to open it?

Reply back let me know what you've opened and why. If you're really proud of it, I'd be happy to share it with folks, too.

Thanks for reading and see you soon.
